ACCOMPANYING YOU

INTO COURT

If you are representing yourself in court (a “litigant-in-person”), we can assist you as what is known as a “McKenzie Friend”. These are people who accompany litigants-in-person into civil courts.

The majority of McKenzie Friends act only “in the moment” and do not carry out work for the client before or after the event. However, Lifeline Legal™ is different. Before we go into court, we can work with you to create all of your paperwork, court forms, statements, and everything that you will need to say, including cross-examination questions and your address to the court.

Then, as a McKenzie Friend, we can accompany you into court to quietly assist and advise you as necessary.

You are not alone.

“Never give up—never, never, never, never!”

Sir Winston Churchill
